About us

Just in time for al fresco dining, Pazzo (Italian for “crazy”) Restaurant and Bar is now open on historic Newbury Street in Boston, MA. This Mediterranean inspired restaurant offers two floors of indoor dining and bars in addition to prime patio seating. Pazzo is the sister restaurant to long time foodie favorite, Tapeo, located directly across the street. Patrick Buben and Vina DePaolo, who in addition to these two restaurants, own and operate North End favorite Bacco, have been in the business for well over 20 years and have every reason to anticipate yet another success.

At the helm in the kitchen is renowned Executive Chef Bill Bradley. His fans know him as a master of simplicity in combining classic techniques with the freshest of ingredients. In addition to Italian specialties and pizzas, Chef Bradley will serve up carpaccios and other Mediterranean seafood dishes always with a nod to his Italian culinary roots for which he is best known. A Culinary Institute of America graduate, Bradley honed his skills in Napa Valley and the Piedmont region of Italy before opening Bricco and Carmen in the North End of Boston. He subsequently served as Culinary Director for Rustic Kitchen before opening Incontro Restaurant and Lounge in Franklin. Others may know him from Boston University where he has served as an adjunct culinary instructor for several years.
